Join Adult & Child Health as a Registered Nurse (RN), where you’ll deliver essential nursing services in a variety of settings including residential care, behavioral health, substance use disorder treatment, crisis centers, outpatient clinics, and community/home environments.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform nursing assessments per service line requirements, utilizing a high level of clinical competence.
Evaluate physical condition and determine medical service needs.
Record medical histories, complete screenings, and document vital signs; coordinate next steps based on results.
Monitor client health status and coordinate care with treatment teams.
Develop and implement individualized action plans based on physical and behavioral health needs.
Provide disease prevention, risk reduction, and health education.
Oversee infectious disease control and client hygiene practices.
Arrange and monitor medical appointments and manage medical emergencies.
Administer and oversee medication administration, ensuring compliance with State Regulatory standards.
Educate clients and guardians on prescribed medications and treatment adherence.
Administer therapeutic injections and draw labs as needed.
Coordinate with pharmacies, families, and indigent drug programs for medication access.
Monitor medication side effects and physician orders for treatment modifications.
Assist physicians/advanced practice providers with exams and special procedures.
Maintain accurate, timely documentation per company policies.
Participate in team meetings, required trainings, and performance improvement efforts.
Support long- and short-term organizational goals and other duties as assigned by leadership.
Education and/or Experience Qualifications:
Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice.
Must be willing to obtain licensure in additional states as needed.
Experience providing nursing services in behavioral health, primary care, or community settings preferred.
Required License/Certification (one of the following):
Current RN license in Indiana (or ability to transfer/obtain).
BCLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
Additional Qualifications:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal, written, and electronic).
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in crisis situations.
Proficiency with electronic health records and related technology.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Flexible, adaptable, and comfortable working in fast-paced environments.
