Job Duties and Other Information Job Duties: + Serves as a regional staff nurse in parish health units or community-based centers: established short- and long-term goals and work plans for OPH programs i.e. Maternal Child Health (WIC services). Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STD), Reproductive Health (RH), Immunizations, Genetic Counseling and Tuberculosis (TB). Provides nursing assessment, monitoring, evaluation, and management of patients according to Program guidelines, and OPH policies and procedures in the clinic, field, or patient home settings. + Provides patient services including but not limited to physical assessments, medical histories, collects lab specimens, analyzes data and provides treatment per standing order. Coordinates patient access to care, as well as referral to community resources. Utilizes interpersonal skills in a customer focused environment which includes all patients, employees and visitors. + Coordinates patient access to care, as well as referral to community resources.
