Founded in 1906, McLeod Health is a locally owned and managed, not for profit organization supported by the strength of more than 900 members on its medical staff and more than 2,900 licensed nurses. McLeod Health is also composed of approximately 15,000 team members and more than 90 physician practices throughout its 18-county service area. With seven hospitals, McLeod Health operates three Health and Fitness Centers, a Sports Medicine and Outpatient Rehabilitation Center, Hospice and Home Health Services. The system currently has 988 licensed beds, including Hospice and Behavioral Health. Responsibilities:
Utilizes appropriate health and safety equipment to protect both patients and staff. Utilizes standard work in relation to Nursing Sensitive Quality Indicators. Contributes to the overall performance of the department through precepting and mentoring novice employees. Will float to assist in other like units as needed. Performs all other duties as assigned.Required Education/Experience
Graduate from an accredited registered nursing program Must possess a valid South Carolina or compact (multi-state) RN license. This position requires an active Basic Life Support certification, as well as additional certifications per unit requirements.Work Schedule
Full-time, 80 hours bi-weekly; Call required Required call response time within 30 mins Regular business hours are Mon-Fri, Days, (no weekends)
