Responsible for working with other healthcare professionals to help treat patients undergoing many different procedures and recovering from different types of anesthesia. Monitors patients, administers medications, keeps records, consults with healthcare providers, educates patients and more. Able to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing patient care and maintaining unit efficiency. 


Principal Accountabilities:

1. Maintains accurate, complete health care records and reports.
2. Administers medications to patients and monitors them for side effects and reactions.
3. Prescribes assistive medical devices and related treatments.
4. Monitors, reports, and records symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
5. Assesses, implements, plans, or evaluates patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members.
6. Records patient vital signs and medical information.
7. Performs other related duties as assigned.
