Registered Manager - Specialist Mental Health Service
Salary: Up to £42,000 + Bonus Opportunity
Annual Leave: 32 Days (inclusive of bank holidays)
Location: South Birmingham

I am seeking a dedicated Registered Manager to lead a specialist residential service supporting adults with complex and enduring mental health conditions, including borderline personality disorder, schizophrenia, and individuals with forensic backgrounds.

What You'll Bring:NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management (or equivalent)Proven experience managing services for individuals with complex mental health needs, including personality disorders and forensic historiesStrong understanding of risk management, safeguarding, and trauma-informed careConfident with IT systems and digital toolsWillingness to participate in on-call dutiesYour Day-to-Day:Lead and inspire a skilled and compassionate care teamDeliver truly person-centred and trauma-informed careOversee staffing, rotas, recruitment, and trainingManage budgets, compliance, and governanceBuild strong relationships with families, external professionals, and commissioning bodiesConduct robust assessments and update care/support plansSupport residents in developing independent living skills and community integrationHandle safeguarding, referrals, and complex care planningEnsure adherence to DoLS, the Mental Capacity Act, and relevant legislationImplement and uphold policies and procedures with a focus on safety and dignity
