Position Summary:
We're looking for a passionate and knowledgeable dietitian/health coach to join our St. George weight loss and nutrition team. In this role, you'll partner with patients of all ages and health backgrounds to help them reach their nutrition and wellness goals. Working closely with our medical providers, you’ll develop personalized nutrition plans tailored to each patient’s medical needs. You'll also provide ongoing education and support to patients and their families, monitor progress, and adjust plans as needed to ensure long-term success.
Essential Job Functions:
Conduct thorough assessments of patients' lifestyle, nutritional habits, and health needs Collaborate with patients to set realistic, personalized nutrition goals Provide clear, evidence-based education to help patients understand how nutrition impacts their healthMonitor patient progress, make timely adjustments to nutrition plans, and document outcomes Coordinate care and communicate effectively with healthcare team members, including medical providers and health coaches Educate patients and their families on the importance of proper nutrition for disease prevention and overall health When appropriate, provide basic education on exercise and physical activity, and support patients in setting realistic movement goals Assist patients in establishing personalized goals related to sleep, stress management, and other key lifestyle behaviors that support overall wellness
Assist with body composition and metabolism testing as needed, and provide personalized recommendations based on individual results
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, Public Health Nutrition, or a related field Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certification and/or current Utah state licensure, as required Successful completion of an accredited program approved by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (formerly ADA) Current certification as a Certified Dietitian in the State of UtahStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple patients, nutrition plans, schedules, and priorities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Compassionate, empathetic, and attentive to individual patient needs and concerns

This is a full-time position Our office hours are Monday-Friday, 8 am-5 pm***Spanish speaking skills are useful, but not required
