Inova Fair Oaks Hospital is seeking a self-motivated, high performing Clinical Registered Dietitian to provide world-class nutrition care for our inpatient population.  This role is full-time Day Shift (40 hrs/week) Monday- Friday with rotating weekends and holidays.

Job Responsibilities:

The Registered Dietitian provides safe and therapeutic nutritional care in a comprehensive and systematic manner. Provides clinical services and acts as a resource to physicians, nurses and other professional healthcare team members, to provide patients with optimum nutritional care.  Coordinates the nutrition care plan with the physician and other healthcare providers while serving as a resource in the integration of the nutrition care plan into the comprehensive plan of care for the patient.  Formulates an individualized nutrition plan of care based on assessment findings and interpreting trends in patient populations to achieve best practice. May perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Master’s degree if degree was completed after 1/1/2024 Experience: Dietetic internship or equivalent Certification:        Registered Dietitian (RD) required upon start  Basic Life Support from American Heart Association required within 3 Months of hire
