Job Duties and Other Information Job Duties: The Registered Dietician requires both administrative and clinical therapeutic dietary work for the Louisiana Veteran's Home and will perform specific functions such as: + Calculates, writes, adapts, and modifies diets or menus to meet individual needs. + Counsels and teaches patients and their families the practical and technical aspect of the diet as it relates to the particular patient's health problem. + Implements nutritional assessment care plan for patients with severe nutritional problems. + Plans and implements a quality assurance program related to the nutritional care of patients.
