What you will be doing? The Registered Dietician Under the direct Supervision of the Executive Director, the Registered Dietitian plays a crucial role in addressing the nutritional needs of individuals in recovery, developing individualized meal plans, and educating patients and staff about healthy eating habits What tasks are required? + Conduct detailed assessments of patients' dietary habits and nutritional needs. + Analyze lab results and health histories to develop individualized nutrition plans. + Design and implement customized meal plans based on individual health goals, dietary restrictions, and preferences. + Educate clients about proper nutrition and dietary choices. + Provide counseling and education to individuals or groups on nutrition-related topics. + Develop educational materials and resources + Work alongside healthcare professionals, including doctors and nurses, to ensure comprehensive patient care. + Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and outcomes. + Track and evaluate patient progress and adjust nutrition plans as needed. + Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and outcomes. + Stay updated with the latest research and trends in nutrition and dietetics. + Participate in continuing education opportunities to maintain licensure and certification. What we need from you? + Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field. + Completion of a supervised practice program (e.g., dietetic internship). + Passing the national examination for RDs. + State licensure or certification as required. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills. + Ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare setting. + Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. + Proficiency in meal planning and dietary management software. + Can work in various settings, including hospitals, clinics, schools, or private practice. + May involve occasional travel for community outreach or professional development.
