Our award-winning community is seeking an experienced Registered Dietician to help develop and manage nutritional care programs in the absence of our full-time Clinician. This role requires 1-3 shifts (16 hours) per month and the flexibility to provide coverage during scheduled vacations.

Compensation: $35-$40 /hour commensurate with experience

Ensure the resident nutritional needs are met and documented to fulfill the requirements of all federal, state, and local regulationsPlan and monitor Continuing Care Residents' nutritional programs.Assist in the supervision of the overall efficiency of the dining room, room service operations, and staffAssist in the supervision, evaluation, training, and disciplining of the dining staffProvide nutritional in-service education to both staff and residentsWhat you will need
Licensed Dietitian and Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic RegistrationExperience in health care food service management and clinical nutrition preferredKnowledge of and ability to utilize clinical and administrative dietetics including issues in persons with terminal illnessComputer practical understanding (Word, Excel, and Outlook), and ability to learn more programsFlexible with schedule; will be required to work weekends and holidaysPlease note that specific state regulations and requirements may be applicable.
