Salary: $862 / Week The Registered/Certified Behavior Technician works tofacilitate educational and behavioral services with children and adults withspecial needs and collaborates with school professionals and other behavioralspecialists to achieve learning and behavioral goals and objectives. TheRegistered/Certified Behavior Technician can support implementation of AppliedBehavior Analysis (ABA) therapeutic services. Minimum Requirements: + Registered BehaviorTechnician (RBT) certification and/or State Certified Behavior Technician (CBT)license (as applicable per state/contract) + High School diploma or equivalent required + Two (2) years relevant experience preferred + One year relevant experience preferred + Associates degree in behavioral studies or related fieldpreferred + Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice + Current CPR if applicable + TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable + Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation) + Must meet all federal, state and local requirements + Must be at least 18 years of age Lakewood Ranch, FL 34202 Modality & Specialty Registered Behavior Technician Qualifications/Credentials + RBT - BACB Certification: *Must be in good standing with no delinquencies/suspensions prior + 2-3 years of school experience required (can accept ABA Center in push-in services provided by RBT) Pay Rate $23 Start Date August 2025 Length of Contract 39 Weeks Weekly Schedule Monday-Friday Hours/Week 8:30 - 2:00 Grade Levels Elementary and Middle Duties/Position Details (class size/site) (1) Cases Available/(2) Possible Clients - Must have AAC Device experience (students use Nova Chat if needed) 10 year old male : needs self-help skills during meals, push-in classroom setting (non-graded/independent) and social times. Independent toileting. No self-injurious behaviors, no physical aggression. 4 year old female : push-in classroom setting (getting a new classroom in fall), has more pushback behavior to avoid tasks or assignments. Needs a new face that will help challenge her with behaviors, elopement from tasks, or new behaviors. No self-injurious behaviors, no physical aggression.
