As a caregiver at TheKey, you will play a vital role in implementing personalized care plans that cater to the holistic needs of our clients. You will deliver outstanding care by assisting with various daily activities and managing the overall well-being of clients. Caregivers in Victoria & White Rock region whose primary responsibilities will contribute to managing activities of daily living (ADLs) and maintaining client autonomy. Applicants of interest will work primarily with the elderly in autonomous, semi-autonomous, and total care conditions.

Required Skills, Education, and Certifications:
Must have some form of training eg. RCAHigh school or college diplomaMust have at least 2-3 years of experience caring for the elderly and preferably have experience dealing with Clients with dementiaMust have a good command of English and be able to converse with ease on a wide variety of topicsNo history of criminal backgroundPassionate about providing care for eldersMust be compassionate, honest, reliable, confident, and highly sociableMust feel confident in your ability to engage the Client in activities and conversationMust be able to cookProof of eligibility to work in Canada3 professional references including telephone numbersPhysical Requirements:
Ability to reliably travel to client homes and office location(s)Ability to safely perform client transfers with weight-bearing requirements, contingent upon client condition and needsAbility to sit, stand and walk for prolonged periods of time throughout the workday
