Responsibilities

·       Directs and oversees Area Director of Operations (ADOs) to maintain routine quality improvement efforts and monitoring, including clinical record review, patient satisfaction, and rehab agency survey readiness

o   Responsible for supporting ADOs to ensure therapy staff meets identified productivity expectations and provides strategic guidance on how to accomplish productivity goals

o   Provides leadership in such a manner that represents key servant leadership principles, including effective listening, empathy, awareness, and persuasiveness

o   Assists in recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and orientation of new team members

o   Assists the ADOs with supervision, training, coaching, and evaluation of rehab staff

o   Daily monitoring of Key Performance Indicators (KPI); holds ADOs accountable for performance below expectations

·       Responsible for the financial performance of their region, including achievement of goals and targets

·       Assists with the development of new business opportunities, including, but not limited to, identifying and developing strategic partnerships with other entities and competitor analyses

·       Participates in the development of new project proposals and operations

·       Responsible for implementation of services in new EmpowerMe communities and facilitates the transfer to Area Director of Operations once stabilized

·       Trains ADOs on reporting weekly expectations around Lead metrics to support occupancy on Microsoft Form.

·       Ensures through ADOs that EDs and DON are receiving the Weekly Caseload Report

·       Ensures that ADOs are sitting down every 90 days with ED, DON, etc., and reviewing the 90-Day Client Report

·       Maintains positive relationships with clients with regular communication of clinical outcomes

·       Executes strategies for delivering high-quality services that are person-directed and that produce outcomes in line with company goals and objectives

·       Provides leadership for division-wide policy development, evidence-based practices, and clinical programs that meet the needs of outpatients and long-term care patients, with a focus on residents in senior living communities

·       Collaborates with Senior VP of Operations to develop area-wide budgets for individual communities, including visit targets for individual teams

·       Demonstrates competence in regulatory compliance, ensuring each location stays in compliance with all regulatory agencies

·       Attends corporate-sponsored meetings and training sessions as required

·       Actively participates in networking and community-based group(s) that are relevant to company business

·       Ensures that ADOs are working with teams to keep the clinic organized and always tour ready

·       Provides guidance to key leadership of communities and clients serviced by EmpowerMe

·       Monitors dashboards in DOMO with weekly metrics to ensure that your ADOs are appropriately managing and engaging in the necessary conversations where expectations are falling short

·       Collaborates with Human Resources regarding employee relations and conducts employee discipline sessions as needed

·       Remains coachable and demonstrates the ability to effectively help others succeed

·       Ensures that company standards and policies are well-maintained

·       Complies with HIPAA and PHI guidelines and always protects confidentiality

·       Aligns his/herself with the company vision for service quality and value creation

·       Performs other duties as assigned


Qualifications

·       Master’s Degree preferred OR Bachelor’s and 10+ years of relevant previous experience and five (5) years of experience in rehabilitation in senior care communities, with proven leadership and organizational skills

·       Applicable state licensure(s) required- license must be in good standing

·       In-depth knowledge of Medicare payment systems and EHR/EMR systems

·       Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are required along with the heart and passion to work with older adults while providing the best care possible

·       Proven experience in staffing, leading, developing, and retaining strong organizational teams

·       Superior analytical, project management, and organizational skills

·       Must have the ability to remain calm in stressful situations, be flexible, work well with many interruptions, and have exceptional multi-tasking skills

·       Passion to achieve results through self-motivation, initiatives, and proactive orientation with a sense of professional curiosity, desire to learn new things, and to find/recommend solutions to problems

·       Driven to achieve and exceed goals and can motivate others to do the same

·       Respect for the principles of patient rights and confidentiality, knowledgeable in HIPAA and PHI guidelines

·       Must possess a solid understanding of Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy for seniors as well as a general knowledge of laws and restrictions regarding Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care

·       Must exhibit and promote a high level of professionalism, customer service, curiosity, and friendliness in all interactions with employees, residents, and visitors throughout the organization
