In the role of Regional Specifications Leader, we'll count on you to:

Determine, contribute to, and drive specifications goals as necessary by project needsDiscover, create, develop, and implement new products, systems, and componentsGather and promote actions for lessons learned and project experiencesAssist in hiring regional full-time specifications writing and support staffProvide education to staff about best practices, products, and specificationsTrain, mentor, and encourage staff in developing specifications writing proficiency and convey the importance of specifications in concert with the delivery modelsGather critical information about office and regional specification needs, issues, and activitiesElevate relevant information firmwide and to the Architectural Business Group (ABG) as neededFoster collegial sharing of information and specification initiatives and other beneficial activitiesCommunicate specification developments and updates to regional usersProvide feedback on regional needs to Specifications TeamContribute information and materials to SharePoint and Teams portalSupervise and support local full-time Specification Writers and support staff in their regionProvide specification support for regional users (i.e., in-depth technical product support, regional codes and standards, etc.)Assist with quality control and quality assurance processesLiaison for project engagement with software platforms for design, planning, analytics, sustainability, equipment, etc.Provide consistency in the delivery of our project specificationsPrepare specifications for technical projects through all phases and packages while ensuring compatibility with drawings and/or technical conditionsReinforce established practices by action on large projects and mentoring other projectsAssist with project contract language, proposals, project digital teamsRecommend materials, procedures, and technical specification requirements and contentsAssist project leadership aligning user skillsets with project requirementsWrite technical specifications in compliance with project requirements, acceptable standards and existing laws, rules, regulations and codesExhibit the utmost in professionalism, outstanding communications skills and the ability to work well with others in a fast-paced work environmentDemonstrate diligence, attention to detail and overall positive attitude when meeting deadlines

The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions.
