Job Description

Purpose

The Regional Security Manager EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) is a vital leadership position responsible for overseeing and executing security programs, and operations across the MEAR (Middle East, Africa, and Russia) region and assisting Regional Security Director for EMEA security activities. Reporting to the Regional Security Director for EMEA, the role requires expert knowledge in security risk management, security system projects, crisis management, business continuity planning, employee security awareness training, security investigation and security compliance.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Develop, implement, and manage security plans and functions for the region aligned with organizational objectivesProvide security leadership and establish regional security business plans for assigned sites Ensure the protection of people, assets, and information within the regionCoordinate executive protection support for regional visits and eventsAct as the point of contact and maintain relationships with law enforcement agenciesSupport development of on-site security and business continuity management (BCM) coordinatorsEnsure compliance with legal and regulatory security requirements Implement security guidelines, procedures, standards, and trainingConduct crisis management exercises and ensure BCM plans are updatedConduct security investigations, assessments, and auditsManage security incident reporting and investigations at sitesMain point of contact for BTS security architecture assistance Manage alert notifications and crisis activations across the regionManage enterprise security platforms integration between US HQ and regional assetsLeverage knowledge of physical and technical security systemsManage site security system projectsPrincipal regional security point of contact for crisis communicationsMaintain statistical databases for operations/incidents and trainingConduct employee security awareness training

 


Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, military or securityMinimum 12 years of management experience in law enforcement, intelligence, public or private security, including 5 years of corporate security regional manager experienceExperience in International security is preferredExcellent English verbal and written communication skillsAbility to travel 30% within assigned region Strong understanding of security systems and toolsProven success in impactful security rolesStrong interpersonal and executive presence with business leadersEnterprise-level strategic mindset aligned with business strategyAbility to influence stakeholders and leadership teamsExcellent communicator with strong presentation skills
