Job Description

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

As a Regional Security Manager, you will be part of our security team and support us in securing employees, company assets, operations and business. Will work in close coordination with the central security team, you ensure consistently high security standards at our locations in the regions you are responsible for and act as the primary contact for security-related issues.

The successful candidate will develop a robust and comprehensive regional security strategy, foster initiatives to secure the Continental Tires business and people and maintain excellent and collaborative working relationships with business partners regionally. The Regional Security Manager – Americas will drive and provide governance guidance, granular operational and technical consultancy/support, site audits/assessments and customized/innovative solutions at various levels to ensure conformance to security standards, policies and procedures as well as compliance to applicable and evolving legal and regulatory requirements related to security.

**Position can sit remotely in the US, but preference is in Fort Mill, SC area close to our Tire HQs**

Qualifications

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE 

Bachelor's degree in Security, Criminal Justice, Risk Management, or a related field7+ years of related security professional experienceRelatable experience in a large corporate environment Strong strategic thinking, governance, and advisory capabilitiesPrior regional level experienceStrong leadership and crisis management skillsFamiliarity with security technology systems emergency response protocolsStrong project and process thinking skillsPossess strong sense of integrity, team spirit; ethical and discreteSelf-initiative, reliability, and assertivenessGood stakeholder management skills and adeptness in dealing with people from different cultures and hierarchical levelsWillingness to travel, both nationally and internationally, 50% of timePosition can sit remotely in the US, but preference is near Fort Mill, SC close to our Tire HQsLegal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
