Qualifications and experience required:
Bachelor’s degree (NQF 7) in Supply Chain, Logistics Management, Procurement, or related field SA Code B Driver’s Licence (Light Vehicle) 6–8 years’ experience in regional Supply Chain management (warehousing, logistics, inventory) Previous leadership/managerial experience in warehousing or transport operations Knowledge of supply chain interdependencies and sustainability in PSC (circular economy, carbon reduction) Preferred: Postgraduate qualification (NQF 8) in a relevant field Responsibilities include: Implement and manage Supply Chain strategy within warehousing operations for the region Conduct safety risk assessments and ensure compliance with SHE requirements Maintain optimal stock levels to support operational demand Manage audits, stock/cycle counts, safety reviews, and contractor performance Resolve payment issues and manage incidents of fraud or shrinkage Collaborate with sourcing, purchasing, and commercial teams on fulfilment strategies Drive sustainability efforts such as zero waste to landfill and inclusive procurement Mentor and develop warehouse teams to build agile, high-performing capability Ensure team adherence to KPIs, governance policies, and performance standards Engage with internal stakeholders and external partners (suppliers, unions, service providers
