**Role Summary:**
The Regional Sales Support Engineer plays a critical role in supporting the growth of Trane TNSA’s data center business by providing technical expertise, solution development, and customer-facing support to regional sales teams. This role bridges sales, factory engineering, and customers—ensuring our HVAC and cooling solutions align with data center requirements for reliability, efficiency, resilience, and scalability.
**Responsibilities:**
· Work with the factory engineering team to provide pre‑sales technical support to key account managers and customers for data center cooling solutions (chiller, CDU, FWU, etc.)
· Work with the factory engineering team to prepare equipment selection, proposals, technical, and commercial documents
· Support bid responses, specifications review, project scoping, and value engineering recommendations, and tender follow-up
· Ensure accurate documentation, pricing, submittals, and technical materials are delivered on time
· Work with key account manager to prepare technical presentations, lunch‑and‑learns, and product/system education sessions for internal teams, consultants, and end‑users
· Assist in competitive analysis and positioning of Trane’s data center portfolio in the region
· Provide guidance to sales teams on industry trends, technology requirements, redundancy strategies, and regulatory considerations specific to data center
· Participate in key customer meetings, technical workshops, and project review sessions
· Any other duties as assigned from time to time
· You also need to ensure all works carried out in accordance with the specified quality and EHS standards.
**Requirement:**
· Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical engineering or its equivalent
· 3+ years of experience in HVAC, mission-critical systems, data center infrastructure, or a similar technical sales support role
· Demonstrated ability to work cross‑functionally with factory, sales, engineering, and service teams (mandarin speaker is preferred)
· Customer driven with excellent communication & interpersonal skills
· Candidates with the relevant education qualifications but no prior work experience is welcome to apply
