This role focuses on value-based selling, building strong customer relationships, and managing channel partners to identify, influence, and close new business opportunities. The Regional Sales Manager plays a critical role in expanding direct sales, increasing profit margins, and meeting ambitious targets, making a measurable impact on the organization’s success. This position is part of the **North America Sales Team** and will be **remote.** **You must be located in Colorado or Washington states.** **In this role, a typical day will look like:** + Building and growing relationships with channel partners, end users, dealers, and distributors while effectively communicating the value of McCrometer’s metering solutions. + Developing and executing a sales growth strategy for your territory, setting sales goals with channel partners, and working collaboratively to achieve and sustain them. + Actively utilizing and updating the CRM system (SFDC) to manage opportunities, track performance, and prepare accurate sales reports and forecasts. + Educating customers on McCrometer’s product portfolio and value proposition, and following up on issues by collaborating cross-functionally to resolve them. + Attending trade shows and industry conferences to stay informed on market trends, the competitive landscape, and relevant state regulations. + Assessing market opportunities, providing customer and competitive feedback, and continually improving prospecting, presentation, and negotiation skills. + Traveling up to 50% within the territory while maintaining compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and fostering a positive, team-oriented environment. **The essential requirements of the job include:** + BS in Business, Marketing, Engineering (preferred) + Minimum of 5 years of outside sales experience (preferred), ideally with flow meters or in agricultural, water/wastewater, oil & gas, or industrial applications. + **Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory, including Colorado, Washington, Western Canada and Alaska; valid passport or ability to obtain one is required.** + Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical or customer issues while achieving sales targets in a fast-paced environment. + Proficiency with computers and common business productivity tools (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Office Suite, databases, project scheduling tools). **McCrometer** is proud to part of the Water Quality segment of Veralto (NYSE: VLTO), a $5B global leader dedicated to ensuring access to clean water, safe food and medicine, and trusted essential goods. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The compensation range for this role is $115,000 - $135,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Incentive Pay. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
