The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales performance, managing regional sales teams, achieving revenue targets, and expanding market presence within the assigned territory.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement regional sales strategies to achieve business objectives.
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales executives and territory managers.
Monitor sales performance and ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and competitor activities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, channel partners, and key clients.
Conduct regular market visits to understand customer needs and improve sales coverage.
Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and performance analysis for management.
Coordinate with marketing, supply chain, and other internal teams for smooth business operations.
Ensure timely resolution of customer complaints and maintain high customer satisfaction.
Recruit, train, and develop sales team members.
RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
5–10 years of experience in sales, with team handling experience.
Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
Experience in FMCG, consumer goods, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or related industries is preferred.
Ability to travel frequently within the assigned region.
Proficiency in MS Excel, CRM tools, and sales reporting.
