Job Summary

As Regional Sales Manager, you will define and execute a robust divisional sales strategy tailored to your region (Southern Europe and the Middle East & Africa). Your core responsibility is to maximize revenue, profitability, and market penetration through proactive leadership of local sales organizations. Designated Local Division Managers report directly to the Regional Sales Manager, ensuring strong alignment and execution across the region. You will lead the performance of the regional sales organization, including Local Division Managers and their team-driving accountability, performance, and customer engagement. You’ll continuously adapt the strategy based on market dynamics and the competitive landscape, ensuring sustainable growth aligned with ABB’s ambitious global objectives. The Regional Sales Manager reports to the Division Sales Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Full accountability for divisional sales performance and topline growth in your region.Define and deliver sales targets; establish KPIs to ensure consistent growth.Lead designated division sales teams with a focus on accountability, high performance, and customer-centricity.Identify new business opportunities and implement action plans for revenue generation.Monitor sales pipeline, address performance gaps, and take corrective actions as needed.Drive pricing and profitability strategy in collaboration with Product Management.Identifies and develops strategic capabilities.Foster cross-division collaboration and internal alignment to drive synergy and efficiency.Build and nurture high-performing sales teams through coaching and competence development.
