Base location: Almaty, Kazakhstan - Hybrid. This role demands extensive travel.

Summary:
Skilled Regional Sales Manager (RSM) resource responsible for establishing, developing and implementing key strategic sales initiatives and account plans with Enterprise and Public sector organizations throughout the CIS region Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Armenia, Georgia and Azerbaijan. The Regional Sales Manager will also develop and maintain trusted relationships with senior-level decision-makers and other key buyers within the region.
Key Objectives:
Identify and develop new business opportunities with existing and new key accounts and indirect channel accounts.
Plan and manage local Thales Data Security and Application Security sales related activities.
Qualification/ Skills/ Experience Requirements:
Educated to degree level with a business or IT related qualification.
Knowledge of underlying security technologies.
Experienced in selling IT security solutions to large enterprises – knowledge of Application Security (WAF, DDoS etc) and Data Security solutions (Encryption, Key Management, Data Security Posture Management) is of advantage.
Existing network with CISO’s of major companies in CIS, especially in the financial and critical infrastructure sector.
Technically proficient in software and hardware IT.
Ability to communicate sales and marketing strategy.
Ability to articulate the Thales message to a wide variety of audiences.
A proven structured approach / methodology to organise, manage and execute a detailed Sales Territory Plan.
Russian language and fluent English.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include, but are not limited, to, the following:
Plan and prioritize personal sales activities and customer/prospect contact towards maximizing sales and achieving agreed business aims - especially managing personal time and productivity.
Investigate, generate, cultivate and manage sales opportunities.
Establish strong, long-term strategic relationships with key customers and indirect accounts in CIS (Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Armenia, Georgia and Azerbaijan).
Manage product/service mix, pricing and margins according to agreed aims.
Maintain and develop existing and new customers as well as indirect accounts through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods.
Use customer and prospect contact activities tools and systems, and maintain all relevant information held in these systems at all times.
Maintain and develop a computerized customer and prospect database (CRM)Develop ideas for marketing activities together with distributors and partners in order to attract new customers.
Respond to and follow up sales enquiries by email, telephone, and personal visits and internal order-processing staff.
Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information.
Liaise and attend meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business and organizational development.
Attend training to develop relevant knowledge and skills.
Regular reporting and forecasting.
