The Opportunity 

Regional Sales Managers work with the company’s sales representatives, branch managers, customers, and suppliers to define new business opportunities, establish suppliers, and establish daily procedures.

How you will impact Smurfit Westrock Packaging Solutions:

Plan strategic development of core client base prospecting for new clientsOversee development of all sales staff and mentor new salespeopleRecruit well-qualified sales team membersDevelop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of key customers and targetsIdentify cost savings opportunities within the customer’s environment and utilize all Victory’s resources to build solutions, implement the plan and document successesWork with the full management team to establish a sales budget, strategies and tactical sales plans by product line, customers and marketPlan and direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales programsReview operational records and reports to project sales and determine profitabilitySupport sales team, understand and define new business opportunities

What you need to succeed:

Minimum of a Bachelor’s degreeSolid sales leadership and management experience – recruiting, training, high sales results, retention, strong relationship builder, great rapport and sales leadership ability3-5 years selling experienceChange management experienceMust possess excellent written and verbal communication skillsAdvanced proficiency in Excel and WordAbility to travel up to 30% of the time

The salary range for this position is $129,375.00 - $215,625.00, depending on your role, level, and location. The benefits for this role may include short-term bonus incentive, health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and a number of programs that provide for both paid and unpaid time away from work. Your actual pay will be based on your work location and other factors, such as your skills, experience, and education.
