Regional Sales Manager
Job Title: Regional Sales Manager
Job Description

This position is responsible for overseeing all sales activities, managing customer relationships, leading employees, and driving profit within the designated region. The role involves developing and implementing strategic sales plans for the region and its territories, aligning efforts with the National Sales Plan to achieve sales growth and profitability.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement sales plans for the region and each territory.Grow sales and profit based on the National Sales Plan.Travel regularly to territories to maintain relationships and oversee operations.Recruit, train, and manage Regional Sales Executives and Jobsite Specialists.Search for new distributors as necessary.Attend national and regional trade shows to expand network and market reach.Handle special projects as requested.File various reports on a timely basis, including expense reports, show reports, dealer visit reports, CRM reports, and sales confirmations.Manage the promotional budget effectively.Collaborate with the Office Manager to collect past due accounts.Implement programs with accounts, including product-specific initiatives.Support engineer research efforts to enhance product offerings.Submit monthly expense reports.Essential SkillsBachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.Minimum of 5 years of sales experience.Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, including Excel pivot tables.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Solid work ethic and ability to motivate outside salespeople.Experience in an outside sales role developing promotions, pricing, training, job sites, open houses, and sales planning.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in managing and motivating a team.Capability to demonstrate products on job sites.Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.Work Environment

The role involves 50-75% travel, primarily within the northeast region, attending trade shows and visiting clients. The company provides a phone and computer, along with a $400 car allowance per month. All travel and expenses are covered by the company. The work environment requires physical activity, including setting up and dismantling trade shows and visiting job sites.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $140000.00/yr.

90% of medical is paid for by the employer, with a co-pay plan
100% coverage for dental and vision plans
