Regional Sales Manager, Residential (Crestron Home Automation)

 

Crestron Electronics has an exciting opportunity for a Regional Sales Manager, Residential Sales to grow our Home Automation product sales in partnership with our Residential Dealers. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic team in a fast-growing organization.  Please note: Candidate must live within the sales territory which includes: Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, Minnesota, North Dakota OR South Dakota

Position Overview 

We are seeking a polished, proactive, and professional Regional Sales Manager to help support the sales function and develop business relationships within our Midwest territory. In this role, you will actively participate in the sales, design, quotation, submittal and order closing process in a firm that cultivates a close-knit and collaborative corporate culture. The primary responsibility of this position is to increase the Residential Market Sales business within your given territory, which will include Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, Minnesota, North and South Dakota dealers. You can expect to be on the road collaborating with our dealers, installation partners and designers & be based from your remote home office.

Responsibilities

Develop markets for various Crestron Home Automation & Controls product lines. Demonstrate products to regional distribution channels. Responsible for identifying and developing opportunities, collaborating with entire sales team to provide solutions, and driving business back to the reseller channel while assisting in closing the sale. Update Salesforce CRM; Business forecasting, pipeline development and management skills are required. Showcase your product expertise in the Residential Audio/Video/Lighting Control marketplace & industry conferences

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in sales/marketing/business -preferred (Or equivalent experience) 5 - 7 years' sales experience selling home automation, AV hardware, IT, conferencing, communication solutions or other technology solutions to distributors, resellers, value added resellers, service providers or carriers. Salesforce CRM Experience a plus Knowledge of Audio Visual Presentation/Communications/Home Automation industry Working knowledge of computer networking, WiFi, IP, Internet, wireless & cloud technologies Ability to multi-task and manage priorities Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills, and works well with others in a team-oriented environment Independent and self-motivated Proficient with Microsoft Office suite Ability to develop a dealer-based network for a specific product category Energetic, enthusiastic and the willingness and ability to travel within the territory Must have valid U.S. Drivers' license with the ability to drive in every state of your territory; and be able to travel up to 60% (by either car, airplane, or train). Candidate must live within the sales territory: Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, Minnesota, North and South Dakota

Per applicable state requirements, the annual pay range for this position ($138,000 - $190,000) which consists of base salary (subject to performance) and variable compensation, reflects the hiring range for candidates. Also note, an individual’s offer may vary from this range as it may be impacted by additional factors, including but not limited to the candidate's hiring location, qualifications, experience, and market factors.
