Regional Sales Manager, Medical Sales Multi Country

IQVIA is recruiting a **Pharmaceutical** **Sales Manager** based in Romania to lead commercial activity for a portfolio of specialty medicines on behalf of one of our pharmaceutical partners. This role provides the opportunity to take responsibility for **Multi** - **national market** , operating within a matrix environment and working closely with both IQVIA and partner stakeholders.
**Territory scope:** Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece and Portugal
The role has oversight of a **Inter** **national team of Specialty Sales Representatives** , with accountability for performance, execution, and team development across the country. The portfolio sits within specialty care, spanning **immunology, gastroenterology, and dermatology** , and is promoted primarily within specialist healthcare settings.
The Sales Manager will be responsible for translating brand and portfolio strategies into effective local field execution, ensuring consistent, compliant delivery while adapting to each national market needs.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Lead, coach, and develop a team of Specialty Sales Representatives
+ Own performance against sales, activity, and quality KPIs
+ Implement strategy in line with partner objectives and portfolio priorities
+ Drive consistent execution with appropriate local adaptation
+ Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Medical, Market Access, Training, and Operations teams
+ Monitor performance using CRM data and field insights, taking corrective action where required
+ Support talent development and succession planning
+ Ensure all activity complies with local laws, partner requirements, and industry codes of practice
**Experience & Requirements**
+ Proven experience leading specialty or secondary‑care sales teams
+ Strong leadership, coaching, and stakeholder‑management capability
+ Commercially minded with hands‑on execution skills
+ Legally qualified to work in Romania
+ Fluent in Romanian and business‑level English
+ Valid driving license
+ Ability to travel up to 70% of the time including regular international travel.
