Regional Sales Director based in Taiwan
The Regional Sales Director (RSD) is responsible for promoting and representing the company brand in the market. This role involves coordinating sales activities to drive market share growth, expand the customer base, and ensure profitability. The RSD works closely with airlines, OEMs, and internal teams to gather feedback, position the company as a market leader, and meet customer demands.
Responsibilities: Represent the company in all customer interactions, including sales calls, presentations, trade shows, and meetings. Gather customer feedback from airlines and OEMs and share insights with product development teams. Analyze market conditions and customer seating needs to develop tailored sales strategies. Collaborate with the Manager-Customer Relations to ensure customer satisfaction and achieve company goals. Lead RFP preparation and ensure proposals meet customer requirements. Maintain status reports and update internal systems (CRM). Build relationships and network to expand the customer base. Stay informed on industry trends and competitor offerings. Support senior management in strategic initiatives and process improvement. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum of 5 years of experience in the aerospace industry, with a focus on selling long term contracts and OEM products. Ability to travel up to 50%. Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills. Collaborative, results-driven, and able to work with diverse cultures.
