Description Our client is adding a Regional Property Manager to their time as a result of their growing portfolio. The Regional Property Manager is responsible for overseeing multiple properties across the greater Lansing area. This role ensures that all properties within their portfolio operate efficiently, achieve financial objectives, and maintain high standards for tenant satisfaction. The Regional Property Manager serves as a point of leadership for property managers and staff while focusing on operational performance, compliance, and strategic planning across the portfolio. Key Responsibilities: Portfolio Management: + Oversee day-to-day operations of multiple properties within the greater Lansing area + Ensure consistent implementation of company policies, processes, and standards across all properties in the portfolio. Financial Oversight: + Prepare, manage, and review property budgets to ensure profitability + Analyze monthly financial reports, address variances, and implement actionable strategies for improvement. + Monitor rental rates, occupancy levels, and property expenses to meet revenue goals. Leadership and Team Management: + Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to on-site property managers and support staff + Conduct regular performance evaluations, address challenges, and promote a culture of teamwork and professional growth. + Serve as a liaison between executive leadership and on-site teams, ensuring alignment on company strategy and operational goals. Tenant Relations: + Oversee tenant retention strategies, including proactive communication and addressing concerns + Ensure properties maintain high-quality service standards and tenant satisfaction. Compliance and Risk Management: + Ensure properties comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including fair housing laws, safety standards, and environmental protocols + Address operational or tenant-related risks promptly and effectively. Maintenance and Capital Improvements: + Ensure timely and efficient maintenance of all properties + Collaborate with maintenance teams and contractors on major repairs, renovations, or upgrades across the portfolio.
