The Opportunity
The Project Controls Lead for North America, is responsible for knowledge management regarding Project Controls within the region North America of Roche Diagnostics. The key purpose of the job:
To lead, manage and develop the community of Project Controls experts in Region North Americas, as well as interfacing with external parties and professional institutions. To actively engage and provide professional support to project teams in the areas of Project Controls. To define and spread best practices, ensure consistency of approach and report on adequacy of Project Controls on individual projectsTo promote and communicate the Roche Diagnostics Project Controls related guidelines (Diagnostics Project Practices), by providing expert advice and direction regionally and globally if needed. Where appropriate, supports project reviews in the Project Controls field, to ensure that large projects follow and apply the Diagnostics Project Practices To help project teams define and procure external resources to support project implementation in the area of Project ControlsThe area of Project Controls is defined, within the Roche Diagnostics Engineering, as Cost management, Schedule Management, Change Management, Risk Management and Reporting , across the entire life cycle of the project (through the different project phases).
Who You Are
Engineering degree or equivalent or training as Quantity Surveyor.
15+ years or more of relevant experience in Project Controls and / or Project management.
Track record of successful capital project delivery.
Is recognized as an expert in their area of excellence (Project Controls)
Flexible to travel (up to at least 20-30%), mainly in the US
Preferred
PMP (Project Management Professional) certified or equivalent is preferred
Advanced knowledge and experience in mechanical, electrical, automation , civil, maintenance, design, construction and commissioning
Speaks English fluently. Good German skills is a bonus

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of New Jersey is between $156,200 - $290,000. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
