Regional Production Manager - Rice

**Job Summary:**
The Regional Production Manager – Rice is responsible for overseeing rice production operations across multiple facilities within the assigned region. This role ensures efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality rice processing while maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ **Operational Oversight:**
+ Manage daily operations across the region.
+ Ensure production targets are met with optimal resource utilization.
+ Monitor and improve production KPIs (yield, throughput, downtime, etc.).
+ **Quality & Compliance:**
+ Implement and enforce quality control procedures.
+ Ensure compliance with food safety, environmental, and labor regulations.
+ Conduct regular audits and inspections.
+ **Team Leadership:**
+ Lead, train, and motivate plant managers and production teams.
+ Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
+ Conduct performance reviews and succession planning.
+ **Maintenance & Efficiency:**
+ Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance of machinery.
+ Drive process improvements to reduce waste and enhance productivity.
+ **Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination:**
+ Monitor raw material availability and finished goods inventory.
+ Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams for timely supply chain operations.
+ **Reporting & Analysis:**
+ Analyze production data and prepare regular reports for senior management.
+ Recommend strategic initiatives based on data insights.
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s /master’s degree in agriculture or related field.
+ Minimum 7–10 years of experience in rice production, with at least 3 years in a regional or multi-site leadership role.
+ Strong knowledge of rice production processes and equipment.
+ Proficiency in production planning tools and ERP systems.
+ Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
