Regional Operations Specialist, Southeast

The Regional Operations Specialist will provide aftermarket customer support for multiple branches within their territory. This role will report directly to the Regional District Manager and work closely with local Branch Operations Specialists, Service Technicians, and Sales Representatives to 1) ensure customers are receiving differentiated customer service, and 2) to solicit aftermarket services to existing and potential customers. **We are Hiring a Regional Operations Specialist, Southeast in Charlotte, NC or Suwanee, GA for our Flygt business!** **Core Responsibilities:** To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. **-Perform follow-ups with customers after in-shop and field repairs are completed to ensure satisfactory performance.** - **Perform follow-ups with customer** s after new equipment start-ups are completed to ensure satisfactory performance. **-Maintain Flygt Pump install base data, including customers’ aftermarket capabilities and preferences.** **-Utilize install base data to proactively solicit aftermarket business, including preventative maintenance agreements.** -Quoting, set-up, and renewals of preventative maintenance agreements. **-Generate quotes for repairs, parts and replacement pumps, as needed.** **-Conduct customer site visits with local Sales Representatives** -Follow up on leads generated by sales representatives and/or service technicians, including synergy opportunities within the Xylem portfolio. -Report progress to regional leadership team weekly **-Support training efforts for Branch Operations Specialist** s within region Travel Requirements: Limited travel may be required 0 - 20% travel depending on division & location (overnight stays, away from home) **High Impact Behaviors:** • Continuous Professional Development: Professionals should be committed to lifelong learning, seeking out opportunities for self-improvement, and staying abreast of industry trends and best practices. • Collaboration and Teamwork: Effective professionals understand the value of collaboration. They set high standards for their own performance and are committed to achieving objectives efficiently and effectively. **Qualifications:** -Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred or applicable industry equivalent experience in lieu of degree **-Prior experience in Inside Sales, Customer Service, or another customer-facing role preferred** **-CRM Salesforce.com experience a plus** -Industrial, commercial, or municipal process water experience a plus -Proficiency with computers and business software, such as Microsoft Office, Skype, cloud-based solutions **-Data management skills** -Customer Service Skills **-Excellent communication skills** **-Strong collaboration with other teams** -Ability to communicate up/down/across -Ability to lead and motivate teams -Demonstrates critical thinking and complex troubleshooting in order to guide and advise team members and customers -Ability to defuse situations with customer and internally.
