The Regional Operations Manager supports North American tire plants by collaborating with Production Managers, Business Center Managers, NA Manufacturing Operations, Supply Planning, and high-performance teams. This role drives business planning and continuous improvement initiatives, analyzing plant capacity versus requirements, promoting the use of continuous improvement tools to enhance productivity, quality, and customer responsiveness. **What You’ll Do** + Participate in the business planning process and develop key initiatives for the manufacturing organization. + Support and coordinate between Operations team and Supply Planning for the S&OP process. + Work with the NA Manufacturing and Plant leadership teams to develop the continuous improvement goals and initiatives for the region. + Assist and assign team resources (Global Engineering, Quality, and Operations) to support plant operation in the key metrics of the business Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost. + Assist in developing AOP objectives and budget requirements. + Supports the Plant Operations teams in leading the organization through a cultural change to an environment of continuous focus improvement and plant optimization. + Support deployment of Plant Optimization pillars to drive continuous improvement processes, methods, and standards to be utilized within NA Manufacturing. + Oversee the development and focus improvement pillar within NA Manufacturing facilities. + Coordinate new product development initiatives between the plants and the technical teams in Corporate. + Drive initiatives to continuously improve plant processes in support of the new products. + Support the plants in the vertical ramp up of new equipment through best practices from other facilities. **What We’re Looking For** + Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required + 8 + years of experience in plant operations within a manufacturing environment + Experience implementing operation excellence systems + Prior experience leading projects across multiple locations + Experience leading others and driving change management initiatives + Experience working in a unionized environment and be familiar with labor relations and union protocols. **What Will Set You Apart** + Strong communication and interpersonal skills + Knowledge of establishing, monitoring and rewarding based upon output standards + Ability to guide and mentor others through demonstrated leadership abilities + Willing to travel to plants at least 30% of the time \#LI-FM1 Goodyear is one of the world's largest tire companies.
