We invite you to start your career journey with us and look forward to hearing from you. **Job Summary** The **Regional Marketing Director** leads the marketing functions and strategy for the division, supporting growth, innovation, guest and client experiences, and are stewards of the Chartwells brand. This position will craft, coach and inspire unit and district level marketing managers to achieve goals related to meal plan sales, retail innovation, guest communication, and social media approaches and impact. **Key Responsibilities** + Serve as part of the leadership team to present our brand and campus experience for new business and client retention opportunities. + Build and present vision plans to implement innovative, customized approaches for campus partners. + Lead social media as the content advisor, maintaining standards across regional campuses to highlight key brand messaging and campus success stories. + Act as a leader with a point of view by collecting and curating insights to provide strategic recommendations for our clients. + Participate in client innovation updates, using collected consumer insights to make strategic recommendations. + Drive innovative sales marketing for campus meal plans, consistently reporting improvements to senior leadership. + Improve retail and catering growth through strong execution principles, pricing strategies, product assortment, brand alignment, and promotional activities. **Preferred Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Culinary, Hospitality, or Hotel Management required; Master’s degree or equivalent experience preferred. + Experience with B2C and B2B marketing program development, including product, promotion, price, placement, and positioning. + Ability to collaborate with various internal functions such as purchasing, culinary, retail, merchandising, and design. + Understanding of operations to ensure field-friendly and executable program delivery. + Outstanding interpersonal skills to influence without direct authority and ensure accountability across the field. + Strong presentation skills, able to communicate effectively with collaborators from C-suite to front-line associates. + Diligent with strong writing skills for crafting and stewarding brand materials and voice. + Basic understanding of financial aspects of contract food service, including revenue, margin, costs, and risks. **Apply to Chartwells Higher Education today!** _Chartwells Higher Education is a member of Compass Group USA_ Click here to Learn More about the Compass Story (http://www.compass-usa.com/our-story/) **Compass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
