The Quality Assurance Regional Manager provides general management and supervision of the construction and inspection functions. Directs and coordinates inspections and activities of the inspectors. Interacts directly with Project team, Project Directors, and Project Managers, and contractors in the accomplishment of group objectives. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: + Coordinating inspection responsibilities with project management, operations, and field engineering. + Interfacing with Operations, Project Management, Project Directors, Project Team, and company employees. + Staying current with regulations, industry standards, and other applicable technologies. Qualifications The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications: + A minimum of a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required. + A minimum of 5 years of experience in a management and/or supervisory role, leading a large group of individuals to include inspectors, contractors and employees is required. + A minimum of 15 years of broad experience in pipeline, compressors, gas plants, and construction and inspection is preferred. + Working knowledge and familiarity with construction codes to include: B31.3, B31.4, B31.8, AP 1104, ASME Section 9, and ASME Section 8 are required. + Experience with proper inspection methods, procedures, and materials is required. + Ability to assume responsibility, be flexible, perform duties and handle multiple tasks under potentially stressful and/or hazardous conditions. + The ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, with other individuals, teams, customers, and stakeholders of the business, at various levels of the organization, in a business-like and professional manner is required. + The ability to modify communication style in order to influence, persuade, negotiate, and engage all parties according to the audience and circumstance is required. + Takes initiative and is proactive in addressing issues.
