Regional HSE responsible (Safety Specialist), Norway, Denmark and Iceland

At KONE, safety is a core value and an essential part of how we operate. To strengthen our safety culture and drive proactive safety practices, we are looking for an experienced HSE responsible with strong professional expertise, strategic understanding, and the ability to create engagement around health, safety, and the environment. The position is based in Oslo, but you will also be responsible for safety work in Denmark and Iceland.   

Reporting to the Nordics Safety Manager, you will lead regional safety initiatives, ensure compliance with legal requirements, and drive continuous improvement. You will collaborate with local teams to strengthen safety processes and performance. In addition, you will be a part of the Nordics safety team.

What will you do?

Develop, implement and regularly update HSE processes and documentation to meet regulatory requirements and drive continuous development.Oversee and support implementation of safety policies and procedures.Provide expert safety guidance to business lines.Collect, analyze, and report safety performance data.Act as an advisor in HSE matters, including accident handling, investigations, and emergency preparednessMaintain effective collaboration and communication with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, such as the leadership teamLead HSE committee and safety forums.Deliver safety training sessions.Promote a positive safety culture throughout the region

Are you the one?

Bachelor's or university-level education in technical or occupational safety.Minimum 5 years' experience in safety development and management.Strong knowledge of HSE legislation and ISO 45001.Proven track record in improving accident frequency.Pragmatic and have a strong ability to understand a large and complex organizationExcellent written and verbal communication skills.Promotes a proactive and caring safety culture; leads by example.Proficiency in written and spoken English.
