Role Overview: Otis Elevator Company is searching for a highly motivated FP&A manager to be a finance business partner. As an integral part of the Western Region’s finance team, this position will work closely work with the leadership by providing financial analysis, guidance, and support to the regional team in overall management of the business, cost containment and efficiency improvement projects while ensuring the region meets financial and business targets. This role reports to Regional Finance lead of West. The position is based out of Mumbai.

Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional to manage the regional FP&A role for the West Operating Area. The role involves delivering accurate and timely financial reports, forecasts, and management presentations, while actively supporting Project Pricing, strategic decision-making and commercial activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Analysis:
Prepare and maintain accurate financial forecasts and budgets for the Operating Area.Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights to management.Work with leadership team on annual business plan for the operating area and Territory including timeline development, data management, consolidationWork on management presentations for various regional and headquarter business reviewsAnalyze SG&A, overheads, various operating costs, and other cost curtailment projects and support the team with periodic updates on the progressEstablish and maintain monthly P&L forecasts and identify associated risks and opportunities
Commercial & Project Support:
Support the backlog review and backlog conversion. Enhance usage of BI tools, work on Margin improvement in both NE and service.Identify and mitigate commercial risks in projects and operations.Validate cost estimates and ensure alignment with project scopeTrack actual costs against budgets and forecasts. Perform Backlog reviews, variance analysis and recommend corrective actionsPart of various approvals
Compliance and controls:
Timely resolution of e-SOX and Internal audit observations by engaging with key stakeholdersSupport Internal Control Team and external auditors in operational and internal audit programs
Ad-hoc Analysis & Projects:
Provide financial support for special projects and strategic initiatives.Deliver data-driven insights to optimize operational and financial performance
Qualifications & Skills:
Education: CA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification.Experience: 5–10 years in FP&A and commercial finance roles.If you live in a city, chances are we will give you a lift or play a role in keeping you moving every day.
