About this Role

PAR Electrical Contractors, LLC is seeking an experienced and strategic Regional Fleet Manager to oversee fleet operations across the Ohio-Indiana-Kentucky area. This role is responsible for managing the performance, maintenance, utilization, and compliance of a diverse fleet supporting electrical construction projects, including transmission, distribution, substation, and drilling operations.

The Regional Fleet Manager will partner closely with operations, safety, and finance teams to ensure equipment reliability, cost efficiency, and regulatory compliance. This individual will play a key role in supporting field productivity by ensuring the right equipment is available, properly maintained, and operating safely.

 

What You'll Do Oversee day-to-day fleet operations across the region, including vehicles, heavy equipment, and specialty utility equipmentDevelop and execute preventative maintenance programs to maximize uptime and extend equipment lifeManage fleet utilization, ensuring equipment is effectively allocated across projects based on demandMonitor and control fleet-related costs, including maintenance, repairs, and capital expendituresEnsure compliance with DOT, OSHA, and company safety standards, including inspections and documentationRecruit, hire, lead and support field mechanics and fleet personnel, including scheduling, performance management, and trainingPartner with operations teams to plan equipment needs for upcoming projects and mobilizationsManage vendor relationships for equipment procurement, maintenance, and repairsOversee equipment lifecycle management, including acquisition, replacement, and disposal strategiesMaintain accurate fleet records, reporting, and performance metricsIdentify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce downtimeSupport incident investigations related to fleet and equipment as needed What You'll Bring 7+ years of experience in fleet management, heavy equipment, or related field, preferably in construction or utilitiesStrong knowledge of fleet operations, preventative maintenance, and equipment lifecycle managementExperience managing teams, including field mechanics or fleet personnelWorking knowledge of DOT regulations, safety standards, and compliance requirementsStrong financial acumen, including budgeting, cost control, and capital planningAbility to analyze data and use fleet management systems to drive decisionsExcellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate across departmentsStrong problem-solving skills and ability to operate in a fast-paced, field-driven environmentProficiency in fleet management software and Microsoft Office toolsValid driver’s license required; CDL preferred or ability to obtainWillingness to travel within the region to support job sites and operations What You'll Get
