The Cardiometabolic International Markets (CMI) business within Abbott Rapid Diagnostics (ARDx) is seeking a Finance Manager to support the APAC region. Reporting to the CMI Finance Manager, this role will lead key aspects of financial planning, analysis, and accounting for the APAC commercial organisation. The Finance Manager will provide actionable insights, partner with commercial leaders, and support strategic initiatives that drive growth and profitability across the region.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Forecasting

Lead financial planning activities for the APAC region, including the annual plan, regular LBE cycles, capital planning, and headcount planning.Coordinate, consolidate, and challenge the APAC financial planning and quarterly forecasting process to ensure accuracy and strategic alignment.Provide proactive analysis and insight into pricing, margin improvement, and other key profitability initiatives.

Accounting, Reporting & Performance Management

Oversee monthly close activities, including P&L ownership, variance analysis, and internal management reporting for the APAC region.Deliver monthly reporting of results against key benchmarks such as prior year, Plan, and LBE.Collaborate with CMI Business Unit Finance, CFS, and local entity controllership teams to meet monthly and quarterly accounting and FP&A requirements.Maintain and analyse internal controls over pricing and profitability, ensuring compliance with corporate policies.

Business Partnering & Strategic Support

Partner closely with the CMI Finance Manager, CMI FP&A Controller, CM International Commercial team, and Business Unit Finance team on all financial matters.Provide financial support and strategic insight to the CM International Commercial leadership team across APAC.Prepare and support monthly pipeline reviews, quarterly business reviews, and price/volume/margin reporting, including analysis of sales consumption and shipments.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related disciplineProven financial experience, ideally with exposure to commercial operations and FP&AAbility to thrive in a fast‑paced environment with frequent deadlines, effectively prioritising and executing tasksExperience working with large data sets and complex processes, with strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPointSolid accounting knowledge and strong technical systems skills; experience with SAP, PowerOn, and PowerBI is preferredDemonstrated ability to develop financial models incorporating multiple variables and to analyse a range of financial scenariosStrong business acumen with the ability to identify and communicate key business trendsSkilled at presenting financial data and concepts to both management and non‑financial stakeholders.Flexible, well‑organised, and detail‑oriented, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.Ability to work effectively across multiple time zones and regionsExperience partnering with senior stakeholders to drive decisions and follow‑through on actionsProficient and fluent in English (spoken and written), with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
