Regional Facility Manager

JLL is currently seeking a Regional Facilities Manager to join our team supporting multiple premier client locations across the Northeast region.

What this job involves –

This exciting opportunity will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of a diverse portfolio of commercial properties, including corporate headquarters, retail locations, and specialty facilities. The candidate must be able to organize and prioritize multiple tasks across various sites, effectively manage through stressful situations, and consistently make effective, high quality decisions; must understand complex client and customer relationships and develop open, effective and consistent communication with client and customer representatives across the regional portfolio. The candidate will have overall responsibility for regional budgets, accounting and finance, maintenance and operations, operational reporting, contract services, material, equipment and supplies purchases across multiple facilities.

Your day to day:

Responsibilities:

• Proactively manage all facility services across the regional portfolio in accordance with JLL account and client standard processes and procedures, ensuring superior customer satisfaction at all locations.

• Develop and manage facilities operating and capital budgets for the assigned regional portfolio, proactively track variances and manage within target across multiple sites.

• Achieve cost savings through maximizing utilization of suppliers, preferred vendors/contractors and identify additional efficiency opportunities, consistent with client goals and regional synergies.

• Develop and manage high performing facilities teams of diverse skilled tradesmen and professionals across multiple locations.

• Coordinate the operational aspects of properties in a manner which protects, maintains and improves the value of the client's assets throughout the region.

• Ensure all site management and operations practices are in compliance with JLL and client standards across the regional portfolio.

• Perform monthly reporting, forecasting and asset management on all regional sites with consolidated regional analysis.

• Implement preventive, ongoing and anticipated maintenance/repair programs across the portfolio with standardized best practices.

• Develop multi-year capital improvement project plans and manage the process to complete capital projects regionally, leveraging economies of scale.

• Manage third-party vendor contracted services as required across multiple sites, including periodic bidding and insurance updates with regional contract negotiations.

• Monitor performance per scopes of work and contractual agreements, ensuring consistency and quality across all regional locations.

• Travel regularly between facilities within the region to ensure operational excellence and team development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Facilities or Property Management

• 7+ years of facilities or property management with a third party provider, corporate or as a consultant, with multi-site experience preferred

• Knowledge of commercial real estate, HVAC, electricity, telecommunications, furniture and building energy management systems

• Experience managing multiple locations and regional operations

• Supervise vendor performance during normal and off hours including weekends when necessary across various sites

• Accounting and budgeting experience with portfolio-level financial management

• Strong organizational and management skills with ability to prioritize across multiple locations

• Excellent communication and computer skills

• Willingness to travel within the region (up to 50% travel expected)

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Estimated total compensation for this position:

140,000.00 – 140,000.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
