Regional Facilities Manager Job ID 236605 Posted 08-Sep-2025 Service line GWS Segment Role type Full-time Areas of Interest Facilities Management, Project Management Location(s) Minneapolis - Minnesota - United States of America **About the Role:** As a CBRE Regional Facilities Manager, you'll manage a large region of commercial offices, clinics and other administrative sites. Managing small soft service projects and the day-to-day functions of the team responsible for building operations and maintenance of facilities within the region. This job is a part of the Facilities Management functional area which focuses on all aspects of the operations of a set of assets, providing support to the Property Managers regarding all repairs and investment plans. **What You'll Do:** + Provide formal supervision to employees, overseeing their training and development. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching sessions. + Coordinate and manage the daily activities of the team, including establishing work schedules, assigning tasks, and cross-training staff. Set and monitor deadlines for staff and departmental goals. Offer mentorship and coaching as necessary. + Manage 50-60 small-scale facilities projects, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints, and maintaining project scope and quality. + Manage vendor and contractor relationships effectively. + Obtain necessary permits and licenses for projects. + Conduct quarterly business review meetings with clients, including presentations on project status and progress. + Prepare and deliver presentations to secure project approvals. + Oversee large-scale capital projects, managing operating budgets and tracking variances. + Travel at least 25% within the designated Midwestern United States region. + Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients through regular meetings to discuss regional facilities’ performance. + Report on property profiles, emergency preparedness plans, site inspections, facility audits, and related activities. + Develop policies and procedures to ensure contractual obligations are met. + Establish strategic facility management objectives for clients, including generating capital project proposals, operating budgets, and variance reports. + Conduct periodic facility inspections to prepare for projects and closeouts, ensuring compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations. + Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement. + Apply knowledge of own discipline and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives. + Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues which may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes. **What You'll Need:** + Must live in the Minneapolis, Minnesota area + Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. + Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems. + Excellent leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department. + In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
