Regional Facilities Manager - Financial Services Portfolio!
Lead our facilities management operations for a premier financial services client, overseeing a diverse portfolio of critical and office facilities across multiple locations. You'll direct a team of 10 Facilities Managers while managing 27 critical office sites, 112 regional offices, and 39 vacant properties, totaling over 8 million square feet of space.
Your day as a Regional FM:
Strategic Leadership & Operations
Develop and implement facilities strategies across a diverse portfolio while leading a team of 10 Facilities ManagersCreate and manage annual operating/capital budgets, establishing performance metrics for continuous improvementEnsure optimal building system performance (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety) and oversee preventive maintenance programsUtilize automation technologies to enhance operational efficiency while developing consistent standards and proceduresSupport space planning initiatives and optimize facility operationsRelationship & Resource Management
Partner with Sourcing to select vendors, negotiate contracts, and develop service-level agreementsOptimize vendor relationships for cost efficiency while maintaining service quality through regular performance reviewsServe as the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders, translating technical information effectivelyBuild strong relationships with all stakeholders while proactively addressing client concernsRisk Management & Project Coordination
Ensure regulatory compliance and develop emergency response/business continuity plansLead risk assessment strategies with a focus on critical sites and support sustainability initiativesCoordinate with the Project Management team for facility projects, supporting capital improvementsWork collaboratively with cross-functional teams and Workplace Experience ambassadorsWho We're Looking For
Required
Experience & Qualifications
10+ years in facilities management with 5+ years leading teamsExperience managing critical facilities (data centers) and office environmentsStrong understanding of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety)Knowledge of building automation, CAFM/IWMS systems, and facility technologiesFamiliarity with industry regulations, building codes, and compliance requirementsLeadership & Client Management
Proven ability to develop and motivate facility management teamsStrong client relationship skills, including managing challenging conversations professionallyExcellent communication skills—translating technical issues for non-technical stakeholdersFinancial acumen for budget management and cost optimizationStrategic thinker who can manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environmentsAbility to lead through influence and drive consistent KPI achievementTechnical Expertise
Critical environment management experience, including understanding of equipment functionalityVendor management and CMMS administration skillsRisk identification and mitigation capabilitiesPreferred
Industry designations such as CFM, FMP, PMP, or LEED APBachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related fieldPay $145,600+, depending on experience, with a 25% targeted bonus of the annual salary.
Schedule: Monday-Friday day shift with on-call required 24/7 for emergency responses.
Estimated total compensation for this position:
