Job DescriptionAs Regional European Business Line Controller - Performance Management, you will be a strategic partner to the Regional Business Line Leader and a key member of the management team.
You will lead the performance management agenda across a European scope, driving profitability, operational efficiency, and financial insight in a high-volume, low-margin environment.
This role requires a sharp analytical mind, strong business acumen, and the ability to influence and coach a community of Controllers across clusters and countries.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a trusted advisor to the Regional Business Line Leader, proactively challenging and stimulating strategic thinking.Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes with precision and speed.Conduct detailed profitability analyses, including price and volume effects, operational and overhead cost analysis, and margin calculation.Drive KPI-based performance management, develop and monitor action plans, and ensure alignment with business objectives.Standardize variable cost structures and purchasing margin calculations across entities.Work closely with operational teams to detect inefficiencies and identify improvement opportunities.Lead automation and digitalization initiatives to enhance data handling and reporting efficiency.Influence and coach a network of Controllers across Europe, fostering a culture of performance and continuous improvement.Support group-level initiatives and contribute to the development of robust financial and analytical systems.QualificationsMaster’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.Over + 10 years of experience in a similar role as Business Performance Controller ideally in a high volume, low margin industry.Strong analytical skills and business acumen, with a proven ability to manipulate and interpret large datasets efficiently.Willingness and ability to travel regularly across Europe.
