EquipmentShare is searching for a Regional Director of Operations to help us oversee rental yards throughout our markets in the Midwest.
Primary Responsibilities Lead by example and inspire others to perform to their highest potential, maintaining a professional appearance at all times Responsible for the creation, development and retention of a team that shares the core values of Integrity, Humility, Drive, & Intelligence. Ensure maximum region performance and manage operations to maximize the financial success by removing barriers preventing the team from accomplishing the mission of Equipmentshare Ensure branches within the region are successfully conducting safety and property audits each month Assist with your districts’ logistical management as needed Monitor metrics including, but not limited to: equipment availability and utilization; underperforming assets; warranty recovery; billed mechanical hours; aged receivables and customer satisfaction Assist with P.O., requisition processing, vendor management and vendor onboarding processes as needed Identify areas of conflict and improvement across district and determine and implement the appropriate solution for the situation Establish reasonable and measurable goals with well-defined expectations for your team members Manage District Operations Manager(s) and provide support for the entire team Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following and enforcing standards and procedures while complying with legal regulations Developing and executing regional/district business plans aligned with company goals. Identifying market trends and competitive landscapes to inform strategic decisions. Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and stay continuously educated on the latest EquipmentShare products and services Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills Understanding of equipment fleet management principles. Knowledge of rental software and technology. Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance in the industry. Understanding of equipment maintenance and repair processes. Education & Experience A minimum of 10-15 years of progressive leadership experience within the equipment rental industry, with a proven track record in multi-site management. Physical Requirements Must be able to travel frequently Must be able to sit, stand, bend and stoop for periods of time Ability to be in extreme weather conditions for a period of time Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds A Workplace For All
