Position details:
The Regional Director for IDD Business Authorizations and Processes is responsible for the business functions required to ensure the ongoing eligibility, authorizations, and compliance requirements of the IDD service operations throughout the division.
Duties include:
Supervise and provide oversight to the Business Operations Coordinator and related business processes across all IDD programs.
Manage and monitor all Avatar system functions, including admissions, discharges, bed assignments, level of care screenings, and utilization reviews.
Oversee authorization processes for Managed Care, Home & Community-Based Services, and SNAP eligibility redeterminations.
Serve as HCSIS Administrator, ensuring timely updates, submission of corrections, and access management for IDD staff.
Lead internal and external audit preparations to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and contractual documentation requirements.
Act as liaison between programs, Billing, Administrative Entities, and the Office of Developmental Programs (ODP).
Facilitate claims resolution processes and ensure effective communication with payors, stakeholders, and local agencies.
Ensure compliance with Merakey policies, best practices, and all applicable regulatory and funding requirements.
