Job Description

As part of our Manufacturing Technology Engineering Digital Solutions organization, our Operational Technology (OT) Cybersecurity & Infrastructure team is developing and implementing state-of-the-art solutions, and supporting our tire plants globally. Due to our continuous growth, we are looking for an Electrical/Automation/Software Engineer (m/f/diverse) in our location in Rayong, to drive implementation, roll-out and support of solutions, in Continental Tires plants.

You will be part of a motivated engineering team driving digitalization and Industry 4.0 projects and activities on global scale.

Owner of OT Infrastructure Roadmap in APAC Region, integrating input from Regional Plants in our strategyDrive Digital Solution activities of Regional Plants, in collaboration with our local Digital Service teamsRoll-out and maintenance of Performance Monitoring and Access Control solutions in all APAC plantsOwnership of Version Control, Backup & Restore and Inventory Management of all our shopfloor systems in APAC (Windows and Linux)Solution Development & Standardization - application/process owner, being key contact for all stakeholdersTechnology scouting, identifying and testing new solutions in the area of Digital SolutionsSupport and Sharing know-how - accountable for Incident/Change Management KPIs, ensuring they are fulfilled in each location of the RegionConducting trainings for plant engineers and maintenanceSupport in Central and/or Local Digital Solutions projectsDriving Assessments on Windows and Linux Systems in APAC Region

QualificationsBachelor / Master Degree in Computer Science Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Information TechnologyPreferably 3 years experience in Industrial OT or IT environment, including experience in problem solving in MS Windows, Linux and Industrial Automation systemsHands-on experience in Cybersecurity solutions (malware/network protection)Sound knowledge in automation technology, production machinery and industrial networks is a plusGeneral understanding of the tire production process and related equipmentAdvanced skills as coachOpen and intercultural mindsetWillingness to travel up to 25% requiredApplications from severely handicapped people are welcomeGood command of English
