You'll be the steward of AutoZone's resources, optimizing performance and continually assessing contractor quality, cost, schedule, safety, and security. Responsibilities: + Team Leadership: Manage multiple Project Managers within a specific region, deploying strong leadership, diplomatic, and motivational skills. + Business Analysis: Comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex business documents, responding effectively to sensitive issues. + Effective Communication: Engineer persuasive presentations on complex topics with leadership and internal-external teams. + Financial Management: Utilize in-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles to execute complex calculations and prepare budgets and forecasts. + Risk Management: Identify complex project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and deploy action plans to eliminate or reduce risks. + Contract Management: Prepare and execute construction contracts, negotiate and facilitate change order requests. + Site Management: Travel to sites to manage, coach, and mentor Project Managers, ensuring compliance with AutoZone specifications and standards. + Design Reviews: Perform and train Project Managers on how to conduct design reviews. + Process Improvement: Maintain daily reporting and communication on regional key metrics and project difficulties, promoting process improvement initiatives. + Safety Compliance: Ensure ongoing adherence to OSHA 30 safety regulations and conduct site inspections.
