This role may be located in Brazil, Colombia, Chile, or Mexico. The Orthopeadics Regional Business Unit Leader will be responsible for leading the regional marketing strategy for the franchise for key platforms and specialties. Position should guarantee global alignment and representation of LATAM needs at Originating Company. Ensure execution through Marketing Excellence and LEX (NPLs), Strategy Planning, Marketing Planning. Guarantee liaison with Local Marketing and Cluster Leadership and business partnership with key functional areas. Responsible for BP Sales and P&L achievement for the Franchise. Additional duties and responsibilities include: + Leads and coordinates the definition and deployment of the marketing strategy for the region. This includes key execution of the following critical processes: long term strategy and business planning, marketing plans, portfolio management and development, market trends analysis, new product launches, business performance tracking, digital marketing, and multi-channel marketing. + Incumbent is responsible for organization design to meet enterprise objectives. This includes size of organization and definition of work content of direct reports. + Responsibility for coaching and mentoring direct reports, while driving a strong talent agenda and bench strength + Has a direct contribution to the development of the business strategy in the different clusters of the region; represents the Business Unit in the Latam Leadership Team (LALT). + Works closely with Originating Company (OC); provides recommendations / input to for the development of BU marketing strategy considering the region market needs. + Represents LATAM region market requirements at the OC in Orthopeadics Global Leadership Team (OLT). + Coordinates LATAM Targeting, Segmentation and Pricing strategies for strategic brands, and conducting Market Research to validate. + Leads and coordinates development of marketing collateral and support materials aligned to above strategies. + Champions & coordinates new product/ programs launches into the region exercising LEX (Launch Excellence). + Responsible for capturing and analyzing market intelligence reports and providing strategic feedback to the organization. **Qualifications** + A Bachelors Degree or equivalent with a minimum of 10 years of leadership experience in a combination of Sales and Marketing Management roles with a demonstrated track record of achieving business results in challenging business environments. + **Experience Leading Cross-Functional Teams** : Proven track record of leading and developing cross-functional teams in multifaceted environments to drive business objectives. + **P&L Management and Financial Acumen** : Extensive experience managing profit and loss (P&L) for a regional/large local business unit, ensuring financial targets are met. + **Market Analysis and Competitive Strategy Development** : Experience conducting comprehensive market analysis to inform strategy planning and develop competitive strategies across regions. + **Collaborator Engagement and Relationship Management** : Strong background in establishing relationships with key partners, including clients, partners, and regulatory bodies to ensure alignment and support for business strategies. + **Change Management and Organizational Transformation** : Demonstrated ability to lead organizational change and transformation initiatives, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness. + **Critical Thinking and Visioning** : Ability to develop and communicate a clear strategic vision that aligns with organizational goals and leverages market opportunities. + **Leadership and People Development** : Skills in mentoring and developing talent within teams, fostering a high-performance culture that supports individual growth and organizational success. + **Advanced Negotiation Skills** : Proficiency in negotiation techniques, enabling successful partnerships and conflict resolution across multi-functional teams. + **Data-Driven Decision Making** : Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial and operational data to drive informed business decisions. + **Cultural Awareness and Adaptability** : Aptitude for navigating diverse cultural environments, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in approach to leadership and strategy implementation. + Fluent English (required), Native or Advanced Spanish and/or Portuguese (desired) + Up to 50% travel will be required + Since this position is eligible for Company Car as a working tool, it is also required: + Valid driver’s license and at least 3 years of driving a car experience, preferably in highway zones (between 80 and 110 km/h) and with standard vehicles. **About Orthopaedics** Fueled by innovation at the intersection of biology and technology, we’re developing the next generation of smarter, less invasive, more personalized treatments.
