Regional Business Development Manager – Asia Pacific


We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven individual to support business development,
sales and customer relationship management in the Military Global Sustainment Sector.
The role will be responsible for driving and growing the Military Global Sustainment sales
in spares and MRO activities for all Moog platforms within the Asia Pacific region. The
role will be based in Singapore.


Below is the list of responsibilities that the Regional Business Development Manager will
be responsible for:


• Develop  and  drive  sales  strategies  and  campaigns  to  grow  Military  Global
Sustainment sales.
• Advance and secure long term agreements and contracts.
• Drive and market initiatives pertaining to modifications/upgrades/retrofits.
• Develop close customer intimacy and manage assigned customers/accounts
and regions.
• Interface with the customer contacts at all levels ensuring excellence
customer service is provided.
• Identify and complete due diligence on Agents, Representatives, Distributors
where needed to support the role.
• Participate  in  industry  events,  such  as  trade  shows  and  conferences,  to
gather market intelligence and identify potential leads.
• Support the development of proposals and quotations for assigned
customers.
• Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to contribute to
the company’s competitive positioning.
• Develop  a  business  strategy  and  capture  plans  to  grow  revenue  for  your
assigned region.
• Support  other  sectors  within  Moog  in  pursuit  of  other  opportunities in the region.

To  be  considered  for  the  Regional  Business  Development  Manager,  here’s  what  you
will need to bring with you:


• Degree in Business Administration/Management.
• 5-10  years  experience  in  business  development  withing  the  Military  Aerospace
sector.
• Possesses extensive industry contacts as well as a successful sales track record in
Asia Pacific region.
• Display good business acumen, strategic agility and leadership qualities.
• Strong  communication  and  presentation  skills  –  both  written  and  verbal  are  vital
prerequisites.
• Fluent in Asian languages other than English is advantageous.
