Position Summary

This role is responsible for supporting internal management decision-making through business performance analysis, for Samsung Electronics' business in SEA & Oceania (SEAO) region.

Due to business needs to communicate with Korea HQ and Korean counterparts, business proficiency in Korean language is required.

Role and Responsibilities

Aggregate large data sets from subsidiaries across Southeast Asia to create sales & profit, overhead reports etc.Monitor financial performance, analyse profitability, identify cost drivers and explain variances from rolling forecasts, management plan and past years Extract insight from reports, generate commentaries and create PowerPoint Presentations for Management reportingActively liaise with subsidiary teams and regional product managers to uncover P&L variancesDevelop and support new processes or improve existing processes relating to financial planning and reportingPrepare, present, and lead presentations needed to C suite, executives and external meetings as required.Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the company’s reputation and safeguarding the group by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to policy.

Skills and Qualifications

Degree in Accounting / Business AdministrationFluent in Korean (Speaking/Writing) and English (Business proficiency in Korean language is required, in order to communicate with Korea HQ and Korean counterparts)7~10+ years of managerial experienceStrong MS Office Skills (Word, Excel, PPT)Good communication skills to engage stakeholders and present results to management
