Assists the Chief Financial Officer to ensure the hospital meets necessary financial regulatory and compliance requirements. Assists the Chief Financial Officer in contributing financial expertise in the planning of new services that generate additional sources of profitable revenue. Analyzes areas in planning, promoting and conducting organization-wide performance improvement activities. Participates in the hospital's monthly operation reviews as well as participating in corporate office meetings as deemed necessary. **The value you'll bring to the team:** Participates in monthly financial close meetings. Prepares the annual Hospital budget, cost reports, and other governmental financial and statistical reports. Maintains accurate records for filing financial and payroll-related reports. Monitors, maintains, and updates all third-party contract files for accounting documentation. Prepares and presents timely and accurate monthly departmental operating reports to Hospital staff. Prepares monthly exhibits for the accurate presentation of all third-party reimbursement contractual allowances. Ensures that audit results for cost reports are within acceptable ranges. Ensures that revenue audit findings are communicated in a timely manner. Ensures that financial statement audits result in no unexpected adjustments to allowances for Accounts Receivable.
